These images were all taken using natural day light on their own
Some of these images i love and i really like doing window lit portraits
Some of the other ones were a little trickier to do when introducing flags and such
However i do feel that some of the images worked out quite well, but i would like to further improve and gain more experience!
These were some sample window lit images i took
I used my niece as she is always a great model and she is very easy to work with
She is rather photogenic too :)
These are just some of the ideas and some snaps that were taken at the time to produce the window lit portrait
Again this is another dark image full of production and make up!
i want to have quite a dark image which then gives me room to play about with the lights and how i want the over image to look, in reality i don’t want to be restricted with my ideas!
This image was another inspiration with the make up being really dark and striking!
I really like though that her face is beginning to blend into the background with limited shadow detail for emphasis: however it still is easy to separate her body from the background!
I had originally wanted to portray something very horror like for my film poster, sticking to a dark theme i am however not going down the horror route as i had planned.
i began to focus on characters with a lot of make up - namely avatar. However i am not going to go down this route, i will focus on a lot of make up just not this film!
But it gave me inspiration! :)
This is a simple daylight portrait. This image really flatters the model and the photographer has thought clearly about a simple background but how it works well.
Straight away i am drawn to the models hair and how vibrant it is, then you begin to realize that parts of the background also connect to her hair color and straight away we begin to notice a nice and simple theme.
The photographer has used a reflector on the models right hand side and this add a little bit of shade to the image but it does not overpower it.
